Snippet: How We First Met

We met in Taipei during Freshman summer. Leo was visiting Kevin Tang who was his college floormate, and they went out with Kevin's friends (including Dana) along for a night out. Despite never meeting again for (6!) years, we kept in touch occasionally on MSN and Facebook.

Meeting Again

Skip to 2011. Leo was in SF on a transfer to Bain when he decided to start working on his own startup - Heyawanna. We found out we both had recently moved to the city, and had our first face-to-face meet up in 6 years, at a cosy Italian Restaurant called La Briciola.

It was great meeting each other again, and we started hanging out more.

Getting Together

Leo was moving back from Singapore to SF in 2012 and was looking for his next gig after Heyawanna. Naturally he needed a place to stay, and Dana graciously offered. Needless to say, telling your host that you have feelings for her can be incredibly awkward. And it was: Dana's answer was initially "....... Thank you.". But luckily Leo powered through with his best poker face and asked for a real answer that same night, overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge. After a long pause while Leo was sure Dana was searching for the right way to let him down gently, she admitted to having the same feelings too!

Skipping to today, we're looking forward to having you with us to celebrate our new life together. :)
